Hardworking and honest movers! Marcel was organized and responsive when booking the move (btw he can provide insurance for buildings as ours needed the certificate) and he and David showed up on time. While the move took longer than expected (maybe need more transport dollys (sic?)), they didn't take a break and were able to do everything asked. Would use them again.

I had somewhat of a sudden move & had to change my place due to unexpected situations....NOT FUN....so I had to panicky (is this even a word?) look for movers to save me!!! I opened yelp & Boutique Movers were one of the businesses that showed up so I asked them & several others to give me a quote. Long story short the move out date worked out & Marcel gave me the best rate so I booked it with him. Marcel was very responsive & clear the whole time about the charges. I explained to him how much stuff I had & what had to be done so he quoted me 140$/hr cash with 2 movers & a truck all included. I asked him if there were any hidden charges and he assured me thats all & no hidden fees. So when I was ready to book he told me a deposit worth an hour wages had to be made to secure the move (150$ which went towards the total payment after the move). He accepts Venmo so it took me 10 seconds to do it. super easy! Throughout the whole process Marcel was very disciplined to prepare for the move & the communication was super clear with emails. On the day of the move he texted me when they were close by & once they got to the location the work started right away. All the boxes & furniture were handled with care & loaded to the truck. Both locations had 1 floor of staircase so they had their work cut out for them to go up & down but they worked fast & got it done. Moving is always stressful & not easy but Marcel & his team made it so much easier for us. We trusted them with everything & they got the job done. If you are looking for movers I definitely recommend. Thank you for your great work!

They were early at the site. Worked with out stopping from 2pm until 10pm. They moved a 10x10 Storage in Santa Rosa. Then unloaded ALL of it in Santa Clara. These men are honest and hard working. They have good customer service skills . I will definitely refer them to my friends and family. The prices are far cheaper than most that I looked at. I had a wonderful experience with Boutique Moving as they helped me swiftly transition to LA. Marcel and Juan are punctual, friendly and professional. They arrived to my Oakland flat at 7am, were loaded by 8am and headed south on the I-5. They met me at my new place (arriving way before me as I flew in) unloaded everything easily, and we said our goodbyes. We just finished using Boutique Moving Services to help us move from our 2 bedroom apartment to our new home. The three movers arrived right on time and were very efficient at moving our boxes and furniture. I was nervous that we didn't have a big enough truck, but they made it work, even when we had to make a extra stop to pick up a big couch. They used some Tetris magic to get everything to fit. When they unloaded the furniture they made sure to put thick paper to protect the flooring. I would use them again.

I chose Boutique because they were the cheapest of the reasonably well-reviewed movers. Marcel responded to my many questions promptly, and was very co-operative in the planning of my move.
This move was a bit of a doozy, because it was technically two moves at once, consisting of four parts: (1) move me out, (2) move out previous tenant at the place I was moving in, (3) pack and ship the previous tenant's belongings to the other coast, (4) throw out the furniture the previous tenant left behind. Boutique managed all four parts well, and came in at expected budget.
One item I was taking a chance with was packing fragile electronics for transcontinental shipping. Marcel obtained boxes and ample bubble-wrap for the tower desktop, laptop, and two monitors in question, and then packed them onsite. This was entirely sufficient for the monitors; the computers sustained some damage but remained functional. I suspect this might be a risk inherent to the shipping method (FedEx) and not a failure on Boutique's part.
Overall, if given a chance, I'd use Boutique Moving Services again.

No issues at all. Very good communication in the days leading up to the move and on the day itself. It was a tricky move because I had to arrange everything from 1000 miles away because of COVID and couldn't be onsite at any stage of the process, so I needed to coordinate with several people, and clear, prompt communication proved to be very important. Basically I came up with a plan, communicated it to Marcel at Boutique, he confirmed that it should work, and gave me date options and details, such as the van size. On the day I had wondered if something might go wrong just because there were so many moving parts and I wasn't there to oversee any of it, but there was no need to worry: Boutique did a great job, fulfilled all requests, and sent photos in real time at each stage. And the overall cost was less than I had expected: they got it done quickly and efficiently.

10/10 Stars!!! I worked with Marcel and Francisco this weekend to move some large furniture (including a peloton) from Sonoma to the East Bay. After being turned down by other companies because of the distance, Marcel assured me that this distance was no issue and in fact thanked ME for allowing him to travel around! Marcel is very responsive, polite, and punctual. Marcel and Francisco were both so hard working and fast! They worked hard and finished in 3 hours (travel time included with stairs on each end!). Marcel was amazing! He was super professional and did a wonderful job! He was given a very challenging task of moving home gym equipment that required being disassembled to get it out of the initial location. Marcel took pictures prior to disassembling it so he could have a guide to put it back together. Once it was in the new location and he reassembled it, he tested it out to make sure it worked smoothly and had me check it as well. I am giving him the highest recommendation possible! These guys are super professional, responsive / good communication, and did a great job. They came in with a friendly attitude and worked hard to get the job done the way we wanted. We needed someone to help switch out the furniture in our nursery and office. Since there was a two hour minimum I asked if they could use the remaining time to hang some heavy pictures. When they were done they asked if it was the way I wanted it, and I asked for one a heavy mirror to be hung higher (i didn’t specify before). They quickly rehung it and it was great. It’s always a little nerve wracking to have a stranger in the house, especially when you have kids. These guys had good vibes. I will be reaching out to them if we need help in the future.

I had a great moving experience with Boutique Moving Services. 2 days before the confirmed moving date, Marcel contacted me and asked for a list of items and details. On the day of the move a crew of 3 arrived right on time. I was a bit concerned that they came with a large van not a truck but they assured me that based on the list as well as looking at my stuff, everything will fit just fine. And as they assured me, all my stuff fit very comfortably. The crew was very professional, respectful and careful. They were very careful willth following COVID-19 guidelines. This was one of the best moves I ever had. As promised there were no unexpected additional charges. I was charged based on the time the crew arrived at pick up location to the time they left the drop off location, nothing else. I highly recommend Boutique Moving.

We hired Marcel and his Boutique Moving Services company and we were so happy with the result. They helped us move our large one-bedroom apartment last Sunday; they arrived exactly on time (at 9 am), were very professional and willing to go the extra mile (excuse my cliché). Marcel and his colleague disassembled and reassembled all of our furniture (they even had to take the door off the hinges in our new place so that our couch would fit and did so efficiently!). Was looking for help with a move last minute, these guys came to my rescue. Maintained very professional throughout the process. They provided extra safety for my items by wrapping them and helped me to take the couch apart as it wouldn’t fit thru the stairwell. They made the process seamless without getting upset when the couch wouldn’t fit they came up with a solution and were more than happy to make it work. They come to work and provide excellent service. Were also very punctual. Please use them for your moving needs, you will be happy that you did. This past weekend, I had what should have been considered a severely complicated move because my final destination included 70 steep stairs (yes, you read that correctly - SEVENTY STAIRS!!!! I had several dozen heavy boxes, odd-sized furniture, appliances, patio and camping gear, plus 2-hour travel from the North to the South Bay that was not traffic related, etc.) Marcel and his crew never wavered, hustled their respective butts off, did the job and kept a positive attitude for the ENTIRE MOVE! This was my first time using Marcel's services and I was thoroughly pleased! We used him and his partner to move 87 boxes of papers from an office to our house. His wife who was the administrative and office aide was very informative and responsive. Their services are all inclusive, including packing and boxing the items for $90 an hour, which is really reasonable! They moved everything within 5 hours which was good time considering they had to pack most things in boxes, and they included some boxes as well. They did everything with a smile 🙂 definitely will use them again! Marcel also mentioned that they do trash hauling and recycling as well. 🙂

Marcel moved me this past weekend and it was as smooth as could be, nothing damaged, and super quick! His quote was also lower than the other five that I received. What a wonderful experience it was using Marcel to haul away my old furniture and TV. He was prompt in offering a very reasonable quote and had my items packed up and hauled away in just 30 minutes. I will certainly calling Boutique Moving Services again for all of my hauling and moving needs!

Found them for a friend in Oakland. They were efficient and very organized. Ended up getting everything done in almost 2 hours, packing and unpacking everything: we had about a studio of stuff that needed to be moved. Marcel was so friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs moving services

We would not be happier with Marcel's service. He came prepared with all necessary supplies, and disabled and reassembled our furniture with no problems. The price was quite reasonable, and we I strongly recommend Marcel to anyone doing a 2BR move. Absolutely a 5-star experience.

Marcel is the owner of the Boutique Moving Services. He came to my address exactly on time along with one of his able coworker. He started moving my items soon after he came in. At the time it started to drip a little, but that did not pause Marcel, he continued to do his job. Throughout the move he and his team mate were thoroughly professional, they handled my household items with care. He even continued working after our allotted time. I appreciated his service very much!
